Gary Wirrell - Vice President

My interest in aviation began in high school while taking an early morning class to complete ground school. In 1972, I joined the Air Force to be around as many types of aircraft as possible and while in the Air Force, I received my background in electronics and communications. In 1979 I left the Air Force to follow a civilian aviation career. I received my pilot’s license in 1981 and continued my training towards a commercial instrument license while working for a Cessna FBO. In 1982 I was hired by Aerotronics and began my career in avionics service and installations. In 1996 Aerotronics created a department that is solely for the purpose of the experimental aircraft owners and their unique requirements. I have been a part of this department from its beginning and look forward to its continuation.
